Harley Quinn Perfume Merchandiser

The diamonds light up using a portable light inside the box. The sign is mounted on top using earth magnets to keep it in place. The point of the project is to create a merchandiser from scratch. I used Plywood and acrylic paint in the woodshop.

The Legend of Zelda Medallion

All carved out on Styrofoam and using a knife to carve the details and the shape. And used acrylic paint. The objective of the project is to create a medallion of any kind whether it represents our personality or anything. And since I am a huge Zelda fan I decided to make the medallion from the game.

Off-Figure Photo Styling

I arranged everything in the pictures, took the pictures and set everything up.

Volkswagen Campaign

Our assignment was to create a window display to advertise a campaign. I chose the Volkswagen campaign to keep your eyes on the road to prevent texting and driving accidents.

Movie Night Production Window

This was the last window I did. Every student had the option to create a window display that represents their personality, brand or skill. I chose the brand and skill from working in Movie Nights Production to display the work that I have done.

Stand out Square Pegs

This was the very first window display I did in my first year at Sheridan. My partner and I decided to make a window on how you can be unique and stand out as yourself instead of being the same as others. It can apply to people, projects, clothing, anything. So we used perfume bottles; 4 in a cylinder shape and 1 shaped like a box. And we focused the lighting on only the square perfume bottle to make it stand out in the light.

Retail Merchandising Fixture Display

I did this with a group and we decided to make a wall fixture display using the props and clothing we were able to provide and use. It was a project we all developed throughout the semester and worked with. In the beginning of the semester we were asked to create a retail store. My group and I created a store called Mood. The store has 4 departments and each one represents the type of stype customers might prefer such as hipster, bohemian, edgy, and girly.

Spring into Colour Window

I worked with a partner in creating a window that displays a certain brand. We chose to merchandise AVON's new nail polish and made a spring theme using the spring colours.

ZARA KIDS Window

I did this with a group. The purpose of this window is to promote our own SALES window of any retail brand we chose.

Dashing in the Snow Window

This was the first large window display my group and I did in our first year. We wanted to do a christmas theme and Breakfast at Tiffany's inspiration. Our main goal was to merchandise the jewellery and clothing. Since it was a christmas theme we went with the color story of silver and gold. The table top was cut out by me. And we all wrapped the empty boxes, dressed the mannequins, and everything else as a team. This was a successful window and everybody enjoyed it.

REST Window

For this window my group and I had the opportunity to create our own retail brand and window. Our brand REST is a home furniture brand just like Pottery Barn is. This project happened in the fall so we decided to make a harvest themed window displaying the products REST would have. REST is not a legit brand.

Year End Show Vignette - Australia

This project is the big project everyone had to do when graduating the program. Every year the program has a year end show for the students to showcase their work and portfolio's to the industry.

My group is Australia. The theme for our year end show is more of a travel post-apocalyptic theme to it (a rebirth of a new world). The process of this project took the entire last semester which is 14 weeks.

My job is to create the stone riser for the mannequin. I created the woodtop to attach the spigot of the mannequin onto the riser. I also made the extention of the riser to make a round shape out of styrofoam and split into three pieces to make it easy to transport and install for the show. There have been some issues on the structure of the riser but we all managed to work everything out in the end.

Spirit Halloween Tradeshow Booth Scale Model

The last project in my Tradeshow class each student had to pick a brand (not fashion retail) and design a tradeshow booth for that brand. Since people need to see the inside of the haunted house, I made the roof removable for people to see the inside of it. I used some very light plywood to make the walls and the roof of the house, printed out the bricks and shingles, cut out the gravestones out of FomeCore, bought some fake grass from Michael's, cut a piece of thick plywood for the base part, and painted the walkway. The fence i made them out of toothpicks and painted them black. And I also found some scale model figurines and painted them black to help represent the animatronic decorations.

Table Dinnerware Display

This was an in-class project where I worked with a partner to create a table display with the products we were given to display. We kept a consistent theme throughout the display using what was provided to us.

Point Of Purchase Display

Students had the opportunity to create their own idea of a P.O.P. display for a cash counter in a store. I chose to represent the brand AVON. The stand is made out of Bulsa Wood, the holes were drilled using a press drill in my garage, and the lettering was hand written by me using white acrylic paint and a very thin brush. The holes were a challenge because every time I paint the wood black the wood shrinks which made it harder to fit the lipsticks, so I had to drill the holes multiple times until I finally thought of moving the size of the press drill up one size and it worked! The lipsticks I bought from AVON using my moms representative account.
